Jason Ballard and Ellen Wade were married by the Rev. George Plantz at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, at Simmons Winery. A reception followed the ceremony.
The couple reside in Columbus. Parents of the couple are Don and Shelia Wade of East Road 200S, Faye Ballard of Columbus and the late Rondal Ballard.
Shauna Fields of North Vernon was maid of honor. Nikki Ritzline and Rhonda Handley, both of Columbus, were bridesmaids and Savannah Fields of North Vernon was junior bridesmaid. Emma Ballard, daughter of the groom, and Danika Fields of North Veron were flower girls. Kye Denney of Muncie was best man. Adam Wade and Keevan Handley, both of Columbus, were groomsmen and Aidan Vernon of Muncie was ring bearer.
