The bride is the daughter of Cynthia Kent of Elizabethtown and the late Ray Kent. She is employed by New Horizons.
The groom is the son of Brian and Jean Gessell of Guilford and Gene Melcher of Greensburg. He is employed by the Indiana Laborer’s Union.
Jennifer Hedrick of Columbus was maid of honor and Rene Fultz of Seymour, Natalie Brock of Elizabethtown and Melissa New of Manchester were bridesmaids. Tobi Benefiel of Batesville was flower girl. Brian Gessell was best man. Chad Gessell and Shaun Benefiel, both of Batesville, and Jeff Sanford of Columbus were groomsmen. Stephen Fultz of Seymour, David Hedrick of Columbus and Shane and Skylar Wilson of Sunman, sons of the bride, were ushers. Quinten Melcher of Sunman, son of the groom, was ring bearer.
