Ashley Brooke Lawrence and Brad Edward Potts, both of Washington, announce their engagement.
Ms. Lawrence is the daughter of Brenda Schwartz of Parkersburg, Ill., and the late Danny Lawrence. She has a sister, Whittney Creek, and a brother, Coty Kasinger, both of Parkersburg. She is a 2001 graduate of Red Hill High School in Bridgeport, Ill., and is employed at Washington Nursing Center.
Mr. Potts is the son of Gail and Danny Leonard of North Vernon and Ed Potts of Washington. He has two sisters, Sarah Speer and Amy Banister, both of Columbus, and two brothers, Joe Leonard of Columbus and Travis Potts of Woodbury, Minn. He is a 1992 graduate of Columbus East High School and is employed by Crane Army Ammunition Activity.
The couple have a son, Brennan Potts.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m. July 11 at Free Methodist Church in Washington.
