Catherine House and Christopher Tolman, both of Washington, D.C., announce their engagement.
Ms. House is the daughter of Steve and Rochelle House of Waycross Drive. She is a 2006 graduate of College of Charleston in South Carolina and is a research technician with the National Institutes of Health.
Mr. Tolman is the son of Floyd and Patty Tolman if Wichita, Kan., and Gene and Anita Schwarz of Dodge City, Kan. He is a 2003 graduate of Kansas State University and is an aeronautical engineer with Genesis Engineering Solutions.
The wedding will be Jan. 1 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
