Cassie Hawkins and Chad Ernest of Wrenwood Drive announce their engagement.
Ms. Hawkins is the daughter of David Hawkins and Tomala Flint of East Road 450S and Kay and Darin Lord of South Jonesville Road. She is a 2004 graduate of Columbus East High School and a 2007 graduate of Sullivan University and is employed at Central Christian Church Daycare Ministry in Seymour.
Mr. Ernest is the son of Jeff Ernest of Seymour and Lisa Kemp of Columbus. He is a 2007 graduate of Seymour High School and is employed by the Department of Natural Resources at Brown County State Park.
There are two children, Chad Briceon and Braelei Hanna Ernest.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 19 at Central Christian Church.
